Use of personal data collected

Your personal data will be used for monitoring purposes and updating and confirmation in terms of the products and services contracted, for promotional and contractual purposes, for financial and credit purposes, to fulfill our obligations to our clients, assess the quality of service, and study consumer habits and preferences.

Data collected and means to obtain personal data

The personal data we collect from you for the purposes described in this privacy notice, are personally collected when you provide them to us directly, via our Website (www.aeromexico.com or www.clubpremier.com), when entering your data or using our services online, and when we obtain information through other sources permitted by law.
We directly collect personal information when you provide it through different means, such as when you access our loyalty program, participate in promotions and offers or contracts related to products and services.

The data we collect directly and via the Internet are described as follows: First and last names, gender (male or female), date of birth, phone number, and your email and physical addresses.

Given that the Law allows us to use other sources of information, such as telephone and service and labor directories, the data we can obtain by such means are your names, phone number, and email and physical addresses.

Financial data, such as your credit card number and its expiration date, are not considered to be information that requires your express consent for use, in conformity with Articles 8, 10 and 37 of the Law.(que ley?)

Limitations on use of data

You can cancel your subscription to receive promotions, offers and services over the phone, or by email or postal mail, by sending us a letter in the Spanish language, indicating your request and the data required, such as your full name (first and last names) and a copy of your official ID. This request can also be sent via email with your Club Premier Membership number (if any), and your phone number and physical or email address for notification purposes, addressed to: Paseo de la Reforma # 445, 10th Floor, Colonia Cuauhtémoc, Delegación Cuauhtémoc, 06500 Mexico, DF or by email addressed to datospersonales@aeromexico.com.mx.

Your ARCO rights

You have the right to access the personal data we possess, learn how we treat it, correct it in case of inaccuracies, and cancel it when not needed for any of the purposes contained in this Privacy Notice or when used for purposes you have not consented to, and oppose the treatment of such data for specific purposes, which you must clearly express.

How to exercise your ARCO rights

The rights described above are exercised by sending the respective request in writing in Spanish, which you must send by prepaid postage to Paseo de la Reforma # 445, 10th Floor, Colonia Cuauhtémoc, Delegación Cuauhtémoc, 06500 Mexico, DF directed to the attention to the Assistant Director of Information Security, whom you can call at +52 (55) 5133-4000 for more information.

The term to reply to your request is a maximum period of 20 days from the date we receive your request regarding access, rectification, cancellation or opposition.

We also clarify that the Federal Institute of Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data is the agency entrusted with safeguarding your ARCO rights and responsible for regulating and monitoring compliance with the Law.

Right to revoke your consent to data processing
You can revoke the consent your have given to process your personal data at any time, so we stop using it, in which case you must submit your request as described in this notice under “Way and Means of Contact.”

Your request must state your full name (first and last names) and include a copy of your official ID or a digital version of the same when sent by email, indicating your email or physical address to receive notices and a contact phone number.

We will answer you on the admissibility of your request within 20 days after we receive your request for revocation. Such response will be sent by email to the address provided in your request or via postal mail to the physical addressed provided to this end. The 20-day period shall be considered complete when the document is delivered by postal mail.

National and international transfer of data

Your personal data may be transferred and processed in and out of the United Mexican States by persons other than this company. In that sense, your information may be shared with financial, banking and lending institutions for informational, promotional and commercial advertising purposes.

Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, except to Aerolitoral, S.A. de C.V. (Aeroméxico Connect); Servicio de Vuelos de Fletamento, S.A. de C.V. (Aeroméxico Travel); Premier Loyalty & Marketing SAPI de CV; Grupo Aeroméxico, S.A.B. de C.V., and other Grupo Aeroméxico members, in conformity with Article 37 of the Law, including all other exceptions established in such legal order.

Changes to this privacy notice

We reserve the right to change or update this privacy notice at any time.

Changes will be available to the public through some or all of the following means: visible notices in our establishments, on our Site, via email to your most recent email address we have on hand, through publications in national newspapers, magazines, posters, sound recordings or in person by the agents working in our officers whenever you are in our facilities.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Notice, the following Definitions shall apply:

ARCO Rights. These are access, rectification, cancellation and opposition rights enshrined in the Law formed by its initials.

Cookies. A cookie is a text-only string of information that is automatically downloaded and stored on your computer’s hard disk so the Web site can remember who you are. Cookies typically contain the name of the domain from which the cookie has come, preferred Web sites, and certain codes and passwords.

* Days. Section VII of Article 3 of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data held by Private Parties, stipulates these as Business Days.

Web beacons. Images inserted in Web sites or pages and in emails that can store information including the user's IP address, and its time of interaction online, among others.

Club Premier Toolbar FAQs

Do I have to sign up to use the Club Premier Toolbar?
Yes, you need to be a registered member of Club Premier to download and use the Club Premier Toolbar.

Does it cost me anything?
No, it is completely Free! That's the beauty of it, we actually pay you. You will earn on all qualifying purchases at the over 800 participating merchants in the program. You can also get added savings by using coupons listed for the retailers.

Do I have to shop through the Club Premier site?
If you have the Club Premier Toolbar installed, you can use it to make sure you are accessing on the deals instead of starting at Club Premier eStore. Look for the Club Premier Toolbar icon in the upper left corner when you visit your favorite retailers' websites. If you see the icon, open the toolbar and click the partner logo to activate tracking and make sure you are earning on qualifying purchases through the merchant.

What browsers are supported?
You can download the Club Premier Toolbar for the most popular browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera). See the install page for a complete list of the browsers/versions we support.

Do you support the Apple operating system?
Yes, the "Club Premier Toolbar" is browser specific so whether you run Firefox (or other browser) on a Mac or Windows machine you can download and install it. It will run the same in both.

How can I check my earnings?
Using the Club Premier Toolbar, you can check your earnings by simply expanding the toolbar. Your earnings-to-date are displayed on the lower right hand side. If you want to see your transaction history in greater detail, check out the My Account page of the site.

How do I add a store to my Favorites list?
Just click the "add this store to my favorites" button in the bar. This will add that merchant to your favorites list shown on the options page. It will also display on your favorites list on the eStore website.

How do I know when I am going to earn?
If you see the Club Premier Toolbar icon when you are on a merchant site, click on the icon to expand the full toolbar. You will see a message that says "Click here" to activate cash back. Once you click that button the Club Premier Toolbar will automatically redirect you through the Club Premier eStore servers and we will be able to track any earnings. The toolbar message will change to "You will now earn X% while you shop" and will be available to show you available coupons for that site as well!

How else can I save when I shop?
You can also use the available coupons for a particular merchant in addition to earning. At the top of the toolbar a pick list will display all coupons available for the particular merchant you are visiting. Select a coupon and Club Premier Toolbar will redirect you to the correct page on the merchant site for that offer, and confirm the offer details and your earnings for any purchases.

How many merchants will the bar work for?
The Club Premier Toolbar will work for all 800+ merchants in the Club Premier eStore program. For a full list of stores in the program, go to the Club Premier eStore website, and click the All Stores tab.

Why am I having trouble with Mall ClubPremier Toolbar and Safari?
We are now using a new Apple Developer License and continue to make improvements to our extension. If you have a Safari extension with a version lower than 1.9.0.0, you will be required to uninstall the old version. Go to Safari > Preferences > Extensions, select "Mall ClubPremier Toolbar" and click "Uninstall". You can then install the latest version from the download page.
